1 Sold 1 Left to sell $400 SMC Pentax-F 1.7x AF Adapter

*Note: I am open to offers and negotiations, just don't low-ball me

Pictures will be provided upon request, Deals can be had for buying more then one item. Also look for my other ads., Local people can arrange to pick up the items (Southern Ontario). I will consider shipping worldwide but the costs can be rather high. The buyer will assume the shipping and paypal fees. For fastest communication please PM me.

**All Prices in Canadian dollars

I have upgraded from using Tamron 300/2.8 and 400/4 lenses with this TC to a Sigma 500mm F4.5, at this point I don't need the TC but by giving it up now it will be much harder to acquire if I ever need it again. Right now I need money and this TC is sitting in a corner crying because its not being used.

My transmission just blew up so i'm dropping the price as i need the money sooner then later

One has sold now i'm down to my last 1.7x TC for sale
$400 SMC Pentax-F 1.7x AF Adapter, Excellent fully working condition well used in the field with no issues

There's a reason the auction you referenced ended as it did.

Will this work with.....?

Any idea if this works with the infamous Sigma 50-500 EX that wont even take Sigma's own 1.4x?

I bought the Sigma only to find them not compatible, go figure. Maybe this is the way I have to go?

But not wiling to take a 450 flyer just to find out cant use it.

If anyone knows that would be cool

I have the 50-500mm APO DG EX 1:4 - 6.3 and the Sigma AF APO 2x's which gives full function. But I just tested, very briefly, with the AF 1.7. It does not work with the Bigma on AF but does lock in on MF through the full range if you do a rough pre-focus. It hunted a bit but I'm shooting out the window on a very low-contrast scene of snow and cloud. What we call a 'white' day up here because even eyesight can be fooled a bit.
So my answer is yes, it works and there is clearance between the glass on the lens and the converter.
I should add that the 1.7 is a remarkable piece of kit for every lense I have, from M42's through to the DA*'s. virtually no IQ loss and not much more than 1 stop loss. The Sigma doesn't even work with any of the other Sig's in the bag. And Mike has a fair price going here.

Friendly bump for a great piece of kit. Makes most every manual focus lens in your arsenal an AF lens.
