Pretty damn good for that high an ISO. Obviously the sharpness would suffer a bit due to the F2.8 setting and the shutter speed at 200's of a second but in all pretty good shots. I can't wait until CRK have the next shipment of K-5's in.

yep..plenty of motion blur...but the faces etc are in focus as they aren't moving as quick... .just the arms. legs/ ball etc....Id never have got them this good with the K7 that I had..ISO 6400 on that was a no go really ...Id need 1/1000 to get super freeze action...if id have pushed it to 25600 I could have or under exposed...Ill try again next week..push the ISO even more...bump the shutter speed , I shot in full manual too

.these lads do motor..its all over in a blink of an eye. as you say DOF is not huge either but my lad in green is where the AF was...

Well I'm impressed - you've done a good job.
Well exposed and the blur is fine IMO.
Tonight I just played a game of basketball myself - feel sorry for that guy falling on the outdoor court, they can hurt. I'm kind of an indoor court guy

That was my lad ..he works for me while waiting for uni to start.. he wasn't hurt, but had the next day off due to fatigue..he gives these games everything..

thanks for the comments guys, the K5 is a work in progress with me and low light outdoors sports..I know I can do better...next time ill underexpose one stop...get a higher shutter, then bump the exposure in PP... excessive noise might be a issue though { under exposure} ...but thats the fun...just trying new ways of getting the image
