Some shots from Japan (Sep, 2010)
Lens: FA50 and FA35 Camera: K200D Photo Location: Japan
Posted By: PacificCanuck, 03-27-2011, 01:14 PM

Some photos from my trip to Japan last year, around September. Had my K200D (second year now!). I'd picked up an FA50 1.4 about 8 months ago, and was so happy with it that I picked up an FA35 F2 for ~200 in Osaka's electronic district during the trip. (So maybe I overdid the bokeh a little during this trip...)

Had my 18-55mm, which I used very occasionally, and my 50-200mm, which I don't think I used once.

Comments and critiques welcome!

Thanks for sharing pictures of this beautiful country. The bamboo forest is my favorite. Do you think any of these areas were damaged by the earthquake?

Great shots!

Your trip to Japan must have been very colourful and rewarding.

My favourites are the Incense and the Bamboo Forest pictures.

You certainly made good use of the FA35mm.

I have Air Canada tickets to Narita (Tokyo) in mid May. I hope the radiation levels go down and that things will be reasonably back to normal by then. We are not planning to travel up north to the area directly affected by the earthquake and tsuname.

Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic shots there. I especially like the shallow depth of field on some of them.
