Interior Photos of Mission San Xavier
Lens: 43 Ltd Camera: K-x Photo Location: Tucson, Arizona

The oldest intact European structure in Arizona, the interior is filled with authentic statuary, paintings and murals from 1797.

Wow, Bob, you did a marvelous job with these shots - they're terrific. Just think, these were created only 10 years after the Constitution was written and when the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) was a state-of-the-art warship.

It was even built before the Alamo in Texas. I used the 43Ltd for these shots, no flash, the lens really preformed well, thanks for the kind comments

Just curious Bob, how high did you have to crank the ISO in these shots. They look nice and clean! Thanks for sharing some more history, I always enjoy it.

Barry, I shot all of these in aperture priority and let the ISO float from 200-2000, The last two were at ISO 1250, the others at 200 to 350. The 43 ltd is such a great lens, I experimented with F stops from f/1.9 to f/10 depending upon how dark each area was.
