Nice series Ash especially the shots from Little India.
Can't remember when was the last time I passed by that area.

However Chinatown I went every week.

Did you take any shots inside the temple?

I just can't get over the colors of buildings in Singapore - thanks for showing us something that I likely won't see "in the flesh."

Ash, these threads get buried to the 2nd page so fast, that it is easy to miss them. Your photography has changed the way I thought Singapore was, a busy unkempt city full of commerce and the poor. I enjoyed your views of the citizens and you captured the beautiful use of colors very well. thanks for letting us tag along with you, great series. Bob

Beautiful pictures of Singapore. I particurally enjoy the "Primary Colors" photo. I have fond memories of being there during Christmas time and seeing all their beautiful decoriations.

Singapore is far from being a dilapidated country with slums - the reverse is true, however cost of living is high and people don't have a great deal of disposable income. Tourism helps the country, but where most of the wealth seems to go in the country is in education (so much is invested in educating children and young adults), and then perhaps photography.
