Don't you have to test some of the longer lenses from time to time ?
I mean it's part of your job at the camera shop isn't it?
They should even consider paying you for these tests
I've found that 3fps is plenty for most wildlife shots, although I haven't encountered anything that I'd call fast yet.
In my opinion having a fast LONG lens is more important. Especially since most of the good shots happen in lower light situations.
