wow. a lot of people don't seem to like cosplay here (judging from the very few threads about it).

I don't get why people do it, but it is one of the best hobbies in the world to photograph. And your photos are all very good.

I do cosplay at times and well most of the time I do it it's just to have a good laugh with friends. And yes also I agree it's one of the best hobbies to photograph - good practice for portraiture, and in post-processing especially for colors.

This. A good majority of the cosplayers that I've come across won't refuse a request for a photo and are willing to try poses that you suggest to them. And if you can't think of poses, there are some who already have plenty of poses to unleash.

Yeah, I also enjoy fooling around with the colors in post. The subject matter just lends itself to being creative with colors.

BTW, love the lighting and processing for the first photo, Ricky.

Great stuff RFV. I love these cosplay shots.

#2 & #4 are easy winners for me, from #6 onwards most have a lot of blown highlights.
