I thought the place was amazing, and I'm happy you seem to agree with me. There are more than 1000 Mayan cities throughout Yukatan... It's incredible they are still discovering 'new' cities. There wasn't any museum near the ruins; I suppose they keep the found articles in the museums in the modern cities (e.g., Cancun has a Maya Museum).
