5.30am Savill Gardens - UK.
Lens: Pentax SMC-DA* 50-135mm f/2.8 ED [IF] SDM Camera: Pentax K5 Photo Location: Savill Gardens - UK

After long winter in Europe, finally we get some nice weather. My plan for this morning was to take some nice spring sunrise in Savill Gardens near Windsor UK. I get there just before sunrise at 5.50am. There was no other people around and so quiet. On the way to my spot I came across a couple of pheasants. I was amazed seeing that they are not afraid of me. With all equipment ready, Pentax K5, Pentax 67 with tripod I decided to forget about my plans and take some shots of this beautiful birds. Below are the pictures taken from Pentax K5 but I shot three rolls of Fuji Velvia 100 from Pentax 67 with 165mm f2.8 lens :-). I cannot wait to see the results when they get back from the lab.

Portrait.

Yes, I`m beautiful...

And some family shot.

I`m there to take his portrait and he is sleeping :-).

The second image is really great, it should have the title "loud and proud".

It reminds me of animated "The Famous Grouse" tv ads, we get around Christmas time in the UK, well in Scotland anyway.

The early bird gets the worm, and the early photographer gets the bird. Nice shots!
