I like this monochromatic-style shot with that little red. It's quite nice and probably looks great as a full shot.

I'm curious to know from others whether composition would have been better if the board-walk was leading in rather out of the photo. This is NOT a critique of the shot.

I think it works with the title. It's the last stop. You're leaving one place to go to another and the place in the shot is the place you're leaving. If it were titled the first stop then, in my opinion, the boardwalk entering would maybe be more appropriate.

I really like it.

Nice shot kaloo.

Tks for your visit and comment Mel.

For the title it's an other vision of things but, why not.
When you are on beaches of Normandie, the next land after Channel is the english coast. For ME, this wharf it was the last one point before the next, the coast of United Kingdon.

Your idea is ok also.

Tks very much Mel.
KalOO.

Now it's 10.15 morning and i must prepare my garden for a BBQ party, we have some friends to lunch at noon. It a very beautiful sunday in north of France today. Good weather for BBQ .

That's kind of what I was trying to say but apparently not doing a very good job of it.

You live in a place I've always wanted to visit. Happy BBQ-ing.
