Lizard in the rain
Posted By: dosdan, 10-10-2008, 10:22 PM

It's raining in Brisbane at the moment. I went down to the suburban creek near our house and saw this lizard sitting on a old drum in the creek.

K100D Super. ISO 800. 1/500s. Pentax-A 70-200/F4 @ 200mm FL & F8. 100% crop - I couldn't get close enough to fill the frame.

Thank you for your encouragement, Atindra.

I had a look at your gallery and liked your shots too. What field do you do scientific work in?

Dan.

Thanks Neil. Sorry, I don't know. I'm not a herpetologist. I believe the lizards are commonly called "water dragons".

Lizard on Lizard is quite a nice find. How far you were from the last one?

Neil, are you going to take the 7.5km Cairns to Kuranda skyrail? I haven't yet, but it looks great.
