Pentax MZ-S. Pentax FA* 600/4. F:4-auto. Provia 400F exposed at 800 ISO.
I shouted "hey!" at this fox puppy and it gave me this arresting look!

For some reasons the images gets softer when I upload them. I wonder why? OK I figured out why. I'm going tp upload sharper images tomorrow....

That's a good capture, did you see any of it's siblings around?

BTW can you advise as to what the problem is/was regarding the images getting softer and what you did to rectify it. I'm sure it will be useful information for other people.

I'd be interested in having you post some more images from that FA* 600mm. That's a pretty rare lens and it would be fun to see you put it through its paces.

Well, I thought I had it figured out. Now I have figured out that I was wrong and hence have no idea why

Here's another image with the 600/4 lens. A Redwing.
Pentax Z-1p. FA* 600/4 with 1,4X-L converter. Wide open. Provia F.

You have some excellent work there. I see they are all form slides. I have hundreds of slides, but no time or money to scan them all.

Yes, I use film. I think I'm about finished with digital.

That's interesting. May I ask why? Would it have something to do with the quality of digital images versus slides?

Partly, but mostly cause I don't like using digital. I don't like coping with data files. In fact, I'm too chaotic to keep track of them. Besides, I never take back-ups even though I know I should. As a monumental procrastinator I'll wait with it until tomorrow.
Cutting film and keep them in pockets is about the most advanced form of organization I can be trusted with. I also like the fact that by using film I get a hard copy original. I can alwas scan later on.
I actually like the fact that I don't know the results after shooting and the anticipation getting the films back from the lab.
I also like the simplicity and hands-on approach of my film cameras....

Outstanding fox picture. I had one in my front yard last week. Sadly he took off before I could get the camera out.

Thanks for sharing.
