Street Shooting on Pretend Streets

The Mall Of America has an indoor amusement park - 'street shooting' on
pretend little streets!

Grandma lays down the law - I think the little girl is the free spirit of the bunch:

Waiting for the ride:

Jeez jsherman999 - I don't know what to say again but, I desire a K20D. Colours are so rich in all your shots. Is all the exif intact? I would like to have a sticky beak and delete them of course?
Well done.

Thanks!

I'm not up on the 'sticky beak' reference, but flickr doesn't retain Exif, unfortunately.

Most are 135mm, f/4, however.

I shoot jpeg, "bright" setting, +1 fine sharpness, and then sometimes I add
another sharpness click in picasa. For relatively well exposed shots like this,
that's all I do, but if it's dull/bad lighting, sometimes I up contrast in picasa also.

That's one thing I love about the K20D, no real PP is needed, jpegs with minimal
to no PP are just fine. Saves a lot of time

They are truely nice clean and well executed photos. Some are quite street like with a spot light on their faces. Great series.

God, I don't know which one out of this series I like best. I really admire your perspective, style,
and sense of timing.

Great stuff Jay - very fine. I've got to get a DA* 50-135 and a K20 and some talent.

Thanks for the kind words, all. Dreary weather here, so the shooting is sparse. Pretty soon I'll start taking shots of a salt shaker like last winter, I guess
