My new lens, FA 35mm f2
Posted By: LittleSwans, 04-05-2007, 11:51 PM

Received this lens yesterday afternoon. These are some shots from last night and this morning. It is so nice to be able to shoot indoor and at night without flash!

Oh you're having fun! I like how you played with the DOF in 3, 4 and especially 5!

I must have missed these somehow.

Great shots! I like the feet, it's a very cute shot. The last 2, are they of the same girl or are they twins? I think it's the same girl but your first shot with 2 sets of feet makes me think that there might be twins here.

Same girl. I am having fun with this lens. I'm going to try shooting RAW today. I've never tried it. All the above are JPEGs and I struggle with WB settings.

Really like the first one, though they are all good. The first one tells a story unto itself.

It certainly had! It was so hard deciding between FA50mm f1.4 and this one. I cannot recall how many times I changed my mind between the two. My final decision had to do with the fact that I cannot get FA35mm f2 in Australia (bought this from BH) and it looked like it is not likely to be available but FA 50mm f1.4 is still around. So I thought I better get this first then. My heart is still yearning for the 50mm but seriously I cannot justify for it!

All great photos.

I have a 35mm F/2 also. Some day, I'm going on a photo shoot and take only the 35. Should be interesting.

Just gotta love those "toe" shots!

Especially right above the round things (tubers of some sort?)
