Woo hoo! Got a cover shot.
Posted By: schmik, 04-22-2009, 08:45 PM

Did a shoot a while ago of some kite buggy action (I'm also an avid kiter myself). I worked with the rider and his sponsor and managed to get the cover shot of POWERKITE magazine. Niiiiice!

Not all the shots in the article are mine, just the fishy ones

All shot with K100d and 10-17mm DA Fisheye.

Awesome, another flyer. I'll dig out my copy and have a proper look. You've got some really nice shots there, having done quite a bit of kite photography with the guys I fly with, I can say well done.

Thanks all! And Dom.... you;ll find that powerkite mag didn't even give me photo credit for it. I have tried to deal with them on numerous occasions and they are far from professional! I'd go as far as saying their name starts with SEE and end in UNTS! But that is another story

Good winds!

Yeah, it was more than cover. Some shots from that shoot made it into 3 different magazines. Agreed, who says you can't do sports with pentax.

I need to get some kitesurfing shots from the water with the fisheye...... as soon as i shell out for a new body and custom water housing. hahahaha..... i'll go grab a few notes off the money tree.
