Helios-44K-4... First Shots
Posted By: deadwolfbones, 06-17-2009, 10:53 AM

A bit of crossposting from the lens subforum, but I think it's worth it.

The 44K-4 is the K-mount version of the increasingly popular M42 Helios-44M-4, and differs slightly from the 44M (6 blades vs. 8, no Auto/Manual switch).

These were all taken at either f/2 or f/4. I'll split them up accordingly. None have any post-capture sharpening applied.

Really nice set. The bokeh on the flower shots looks amazing.

Nice shots! Especially likes the street signs.

This lens usually stays on my camera, but right now I have the K50/1.2 on. What a piece of glass too!

I love Sante Fe and I like what you did with it. I have some photos outside the church with St. Francis and the Indian maiden. Not nearly as nice as yours. Thanks for sharing.
