Bird Snaps

Last weekend I went out to our local lake in hope of getting some great shots, but none of the birds were hungry. I got a few nice snaps, but, just like the weeked before that, nothing spectacular

Speaking of ducks- I've got a pair stuck in my backyard! They've been "living" there and swimming in my pool w/o leaving the area for the past 5 days!

(this little guy was difficult to shoot because he kept on running away!)

If I'm not mistaken I believe it's called a grackle

Mo, did you shoot these in RAW or JPG? Wondering also if you did any post-processing to increase saturation or anything else? The sharpness of course, but the colors of these are remarkable too. I am very close to getting that lens and TC if I can secure them.

These are really excellent Mo. I'd be thrilled with them all. I tried getting a shot of a wee baby duck the other day and it was tough! All of your shots here have great color and sharpness. Good work!

I think you're right about the bird in 2 and 3 Stickman. My guess is a female Great-tailed Grackle?

Nice shots...There is LBA and LE (Lens Envy) now I have a case of the later. Nice set up.
