I'm interested in your thoughts about them..
about the technical quality as well as about the artistic value..
because since I got k-7 something has changed.. I do not trust myself anymore..

are those pics nice? or what? to me they do not seem to pop up.. be picky and tell me the truth, thanks
is it me or it's k-7

well these pics, are not for some contest or something, it's just simple walk around pics trying to make something out of the given situations..

more over I browsed through this "post your pictures" forum and did not find any thread with really good pictures from k-7, most are done with k20d and more and more comes from k-x..

I love Peugeots I'm guessing you want a bit of criticism or help on how to take these shots better? I am not really that big or good at criticising, since I'm still quite noobish myself. But here is what I can do to try and help.

For the first shot it's a bit underexposed with lots of distracting elements, I'm guessing you're trying to get the Peugeot emblem to pop? A crop would help that.

The second pic of the bday present is definitely better than the first. The background is a bit distracting.

Then the next couple shots afterward can use a bit more composition.

Don't lose confidence on yourself or the K-7 man. The K-7 is a great camera that can take pictures in equivilant IQ to that of the K20D. Due to the K-7 having more technological advancements, it is the most technologically advanced Pentax to date right now. With the K-7 this technology, it pushes it over the edge to being more capable of taking better pictures over the K20D. Improvements such as improved AF, metering, corrections, etc. makes it possible.

It's not that the K-7 can't take great pictures, it's just there is a significantly larger K20D userbase over the K-7. Anybody can take great pictures regardless of what camera they use.

Your K-7 seems to be performing just fine.
Your images are quite pleasing to see - some not so engaging, but generally nice.
The K-7 is everything the K20D is and a little more.
So go out there and keep enjoying your fine photographic tool.
