28 mm snowpictures
Lens: 28 mm Camera: K-7 ISO: 800

As I newbie to DSLR I found out that taking pictures in the snow is not easy! Yesterday we had a day with sun, so I took Rense's M 28mm/F3.5 to test this lens.

Iris, you did remarkably well! I like these, esp. the third (although I think the horizon is slightly tilted?). Well done!

Is the red in the first three because of the early morning sun, or is it a WB problem?

My favorites are the third and fourth ones. You did a great job in capturing the white snow in my opinion. I think Rense should let you keep the lens.

#2 and 3 are indeed very pleasing.
Well exposed scenes.

You managed quite well, Iris. They say you have in Holland more snow than in 30 years?

Perhaps the horizon is slightly tilted in #3, but I am not sure. The right part goes down to the water.
No early morning sun....I played a bit with orange and yellow (hue, saturation and luminance)!

Perhaps funny to say, but I am always a bit scared posting my own stuff (lack of courage)! Especially when I see al the beautiful pictures around.
But after reading all these nice words, I am now glad I did....
