Street Art In Granada
Lens: 12-24mm Camera: K20D Photo Location: Granada, Spain

Although Albaicin is an UNESCO World heritage area, everywhere there is graffiti and street art, some of it really fantastic and over-the-top, other subtle and obscure. Here is a sampling of what I shot.

And this is one I stitched together. Everything here shot with the DA12-24mm, by the way.

You've confirmed my decision to take the 10-20mm with me.

Considering I covered only a small area of Granada the amount of graffiti and street art was astounding.

This piece is crude in comparison to the others. But there is something about its confusing message I rather like. Be happy? Be sad? Be neutral? Be all three? Or rather, since there is a slash through it, be none of these? Is it a comment on the bricks and stone? Or on being a brick in society?

mixed mood

Some very interesting shots here, I wish some post processing had been done to make them pop a bit. However, they are still very cool to look at and thanks for sharing.

More interesting work well captured. I really like the juxtaposition of elements in the "green face."

FYI, A fair amount of PP was done, as is my usual way. However I have lately been tending to not overdo the whole "pop" thing, which generally means too much saturation and too much contrast.

I will take your preference under advisement, as for this subject I maybe could have gone further.

Thanks for the comments.
