New Website Feedback Solicitation.

Well, the title pretty much says it all. I've got a new website or my adventure photography, and would love some feedback on both the web design/function and for the images/content. Thanks!

First impression:

The MySQL error message if kind of a turnoff. There's nothing else to see, so it's hard to make a judgment.

Works for me with FF. I like it, simple and easy to navigate. I like that the images load quickly. Nicely done. I'm in the daunting process of creating a new site myself and would like to know some details. Software used? Photo host? etc.

Looks great! Straight forward, easy to navigate, quick image loading (enjoyed the action images), blog is on target.

Thanks, everyone! I don't know what was up with that MySQL error message. A family also got it this afternoon. Never seen it before, musta just been something glitching out.

Yeah, making new websites is pretty daunting. It took a significantly larger portion of my life than I was planning on, and I even had most of the work done by my friend who is a professional web designer. I don't know what software he used, but I know he wrote most of the code himself, and it was pretty much built from scratch. The photo hosting is on GoDaddy for the portfolios, and is on WordPress for the blog. The blog is a wordpress blog that is custom skinned and built into the site domain. That's pretty much all I know.

Very good looking site and excellent images of people. However, when I try to read your "About" with Seamonkey (similar to Firefox but not quite the same) when I increase the text size for a better reading experience, I cannot scroll down to read the rest of the text. Makes it tough to read all of it at my screen resolution and size.

Sorry, I think it's terrible. Not the layout, navigation or images, they're fine, but the fact that it'll have a hard time making any noise on Google at all.

1) It uses Flash - the worst technology for search engines, and you can't even bookmark it.
2) No unique titles, descriptions or textual content of note

Thanks. I haven't spent any time on SEO/content optimization yet. I'll probably get around to it in a little while. But honestly, organic searches aren't a huge concern of mine. Almost all of my intended traffic is direct. Plus, the blog content will help for searches after a while, since it's built in the same domain.
