I just purchased and replaced my kit lens with Sigma 17-70 2.8-4.5 DC Macro :)
It should be significantly better then my kit lens (18-55mm AL) so I will do some tests at home and will see how good it is.

Hello,
I'm an amateur photographer using my Pentax K-x gear, currently have these lenses:
Pentax M-50mm f1.7
Pentax 18-55 AL kit lens
Auto Revuenon MC 135mm f2.8 PK
Tair 3S 300mm f4.5
Helios 44-2 58mm f2
I hope I will learn as much as possible in this forum :)
