Thank you very much for your comment. I can see what you mean :)
As far as I can remember from this shoot (a year ago), I chose the the AV mode, cause it was getting dark and I was a kind of lazy to think. There were 3 or 4 other photographers around and everyone said something to the model. I managed to instruct her to pose like in the picture and just wanted to take the shot as quick as I possible. :D
But I think if I had chosen an ISO of 200 then the photo would be somehow darker... specially when my brain is set to "auto" �� Isn't it?

The shutter speed is 1/400 sec, at iso 400. But I wonder why the shutter speed can not be chosen under shutter speed?!
Anyways... it does not change anything :)

You were right anyways about SDM contacts. I think I had checked the contacts in frustration and just overlooked them :( I took a look at it early in the morning with fresh eyes and then I saw the problem. The one contact was bent away, in the wrong direction... somehow :eek: I don't understand HOW it happens!
I gently bent it back in place and it works now even though it is still not perfectly in place!

Thanks for your input. I have double checked the contacts and they seem to be ok.

The switches on the lens are correct positioned. I am afferaid there must be something wrong with the machinery inside :(

Yes they do. I have been through all settings and tried to find something "I" hopefully have done wrong�� I think I have to do without it for a while. Anyways... thank you for your answer Medex.

November 30, 2017
A very cold evening at the our little harbour in Odense, Denmark. Almost no wind on the ground but some movements in the sky. I think the rotation of the picture upside down gives even a better image :)

Ok guys,
I just got tempted to try Wasabi even though I was somehow skeptical. But my experience shows now that it has been a BAD choice. These batteries just SUCK. I have fully charged and drained them twice both in cold weather and in room temperature under normal usage (shooting street photo and portraits at home). They hold the charge for only 300-400 shoots. Comparing to the OEM batteries it is subzero for me.
BUT I can still use them as backup.
I cannot buy DSTE batteries in Europe and won't be shipped to Europe either. Or at least I cannot find some Internet shops to deliver them to Europe.

Not a number: I have tried all of your suggestions. It did not help. BUT it gave me a clue to search further and just accidentally I found a file "com.pentax.digital-camera-utility-5.sfl" somewhere deep in the "~/Library" and I just deleted it. And guess what... that's right. It was the sinner in the problem :)
So thank you once again.

As mentioned in the thread I am a Mac user NOT Windows :) But thank you any ways. I can at least try to install the software on my Windows machine and see what happens :)

As the screenshot I have shared suggest I am using the latest version. Så you may want to update your version buddy ;)
My problem is not solved and have no clue what to do. But I do not give up and IF I find out how to deal with it I will definitely let you know :)
