Hey everyone,
I was excited to find this forum during my camera search which ended in me deciding to buy a Pentax DSLR as my first camera with more controls than a point and shoot. I was torn between the K-S2 and K-3, but ended up getting the K-3 with a lens and battery grip for not much more than the K-S2. I have since been steadily adding more gear (lenses HD 55-300 and 100mm macro, tripod, and camera inserts for backpacks) until I think now I am ready for spring/summer hiking and photography. I am excited to read through all the reviews and picture posts! Thanks for providing this forum as it was very helpful when I was trying to make decisions on what gear to buy.
