By options, I meant that neither SCN or Auto mode work on the dial

I reset it and it still not working. Also can't figure out how to delete pictures...maybe it's the button, but idk why the options would disappear

Nothing. This happens months ago, but when I turned it on again it was working.
A second thing I observed is that those settings like 'close up', 'candle light', 'museum' etc disappeared at the same time
That's all I got

I cannot figure out Live View
I've gone through the manual as well as other people's instructions
I haven't used it in months and didn't change any settings
I'm on AF, but Live View doesn't work

Hello everyone. I'm pretty brand new to the whole camera thing. I started out looking for a basic point and shoot and ended up selecting a K-S2 for my first camera (technically not first camera but it is my first DSLR; my other two were have been bottom of the barrel point and shoots).
I did some photography back in elementary school as part of a project but that was almost 20 years ago.
Just want to learn all I can to take pictures of the world around me. My thing is dead animals that I find on my strolls, weird I know, but I kind of feel like they shouldn't just be left to decay and be ignored.
Anyway going through the User manual page by page to get a grasp on the basics.
