Most Definitely the Hamstrings, too large and wide for Gracilis. What your seeing is Semiitendonosis and Semimembranosus working together (forming the medial hamstring group), think of muscles not as individual structures that you can easilly define but more as muscle group fibres merging together. In sprinting and at the point this photo was taken, the Hamstrings would be working hard - acting like a 'brake' to slow down the lower limb moving forward in preperation for an immediate contraction to pull the limb back ready for the next stride, so they would be really defined at this point in the gait cycle as seen in this shot. :)

Check your settings, have you got exposure bracketing set where you will get one underexposed image, one correctly exposed and one overexposed?

This Movement/trend is quite big in the UK and has been going since around 2006 - the genre is a mix of Victorian England and Jules Verne/H.G. Wells science fiction (not Alice in Wonderland). There are Steam Punk weekends and Rally's held all over the UK throughout the Year and many of the costumes are extremely extravagant and incoperate fantastic steam powered and clockwork contraptions and devices. It has been described as "What the past would look like if the future had happened sooner." :).

I feel these are excellent both in the composition and the lighting given what you had (or didn't have!) to work with regarding the lighting, yes things could have been slightly improved here and there with fill in flash and setting up strobes, diffusers, reflectors etc but this would have turned the whole experience into a full blown, time consuming studio type shoot. Great pics - it maybe would have been nice to see some after shots with the actress on stage to put the 'behind the scene' shots into contex :)

Brought down the highlights generally to reduce the harshness on the face and cheeks globally then local brush with a tad reduced sharpness and reduced clarity, then spot removal to remove any residual pores and blemishes. JPEG on here but link below to DNG on Dropbox

Looking pretty good now Robin CB, you could always brighten it up a touch with the brightness setting or by taking the contrast down a touch if you feel it needs it :)

A lttle post proccess tweaking in Lightroom can really sharpen and brighten this shot up (see attached) - tweaked this just from your poted file, you could get much more from it working from the RAW file if you oriinally shot in RAW format.

Whilst walking the East Coast cliff path between Sewerby and Flamborough, came across this row of pristine Harley Davidson Beasts basking in the sun on the grass in front of Flamborough Head Lighthouse, Managed to get a few quick shots in while the bikers took in some refreshments at the Lighthouse cafe before mounting their steeds and tearing off into the distance in a stream of glistening metal and roaring exhausts.
Pentax K-3ii with D-XENON 18-55 lens with a dash off Lightroom enhancement - heightened contrast and clarity and a little subduing of the hues to add a bit of a moody atmosphere to suit the subject.
