Here's my first Macro attempts ever. Man is the depth and focus tricky. These are handheld so be kind! Shot with a K-50 and D-FA 100mm Macro WR lens

Thank you all for submitting an entry. I know this one was a challenge. I spent hours on it myself. We had a good turnout. I'm looking forward to being able to participate in the next one.
Ok, keeping with the spirit of the Olympics here is the winner:
Gold - kevingun - Creative entry! Had to choose one and they all are pretty great.
Silver - Apet-sure - You got close to how it looked. If kevingun is unable to host then the baton is passed to you.
Bronze - Glenn5995 - And Glenn5995 I would have picked the night scene as Gold if it had been your submission. That was a direction I never would have thought to take the pick and it looks pretty cool.
Will PM kevingun with instructions for #190
This one was MY edit from before the challenge. I think I mentioned I would share it. I wanted to post kevingun's submission here but don't know how to do it.

My attempt. Hard to Post Process an image when I haven't been there for me. I usually try to get things as I saw them and/or maybe accent the main subject matter.

Maybe these are a little better. Hand held just before dark with flash. ---------- Post added 03-09-16 at 05:49 PM ---------- Looks like I have some Husky hair on my sensor (right edge) :-(
