Actually, it doesn't have to be a new 150MP sensor. It could well be the "older" 100MP sensor that's currently used in P1 and Hasselblad. These 100MPs would be more than enough for me considering a larger sensor size.

The FF 645 sensor and 100-110mm f2-2.2 lens will definitely bring me into the Pentax family. Especially, if both body and lens are priced relatively reasonably. Smaller size would be a great plus, but without compromising weather resistant properties. Come on Pentax, do it!

I forgot to compare the size and weight of the lenses! Thank you for your comments:) ---------- Post added 06-12-16 at 03:41 PM ----------
I think 55mm will be okay, but a wider lens would probably be better for landscapes. I guess I was choosing 55mm just based on the reputation.
Leica S does not have 55mm, but 45mm f2.8 which is amazing but I won't pay $8k for a lens that will be used only a few times a year...Thanks! :)

Hello folks, I hope everything is going well. I'm currently using Leica S camera and 95% of my photographs are portraits. I do it for fun and not for living. I've taken landscape and macro photographs only a few times, so I did not want to invest a lot of money into Leica's wide angle or macro lenses. But recently I've started thinking that I can get some great Pentax MF lenses at a much more affordable price, so why not? Now the question is, if I consider either 67 or 645 lenses, which wide angle and macro lens is considered the best in terms of rendering and IQ?
In your opinion, what combination would be the best?
645: Pentax-FA 645 35mm F3.5 AL + Pentax-A 645 120mm F4 Macro
OR
67: Pentax 67 55mm F4 + Pentax 67 100mm F4 Macro
If you have any suggestions, please let me know! Since I can get either 67 or 645 adapter, I have to choose both lenses to be either 67 or 645 format.
Thanks!

I rented 645z for 3 days to photograph my friend's wedding. Actually, I need to update the thread, since the lens was sold on ebay a couple of days ago.

I'm registered on many websites but never experienced such great support from a moderator, thanks. Yes, glass is clean, except a few dust particles which is obviously very common and does not affect the image quality.

Pentax 90mm f/2.8 D FA 645 Macro ED AW SR Lens Asking Price
2,800.00 USD Item Location
West Hartford, CT (United States) Item Description
Hello guys, I hope everything is going well. A couple of weeks ago I purchased this lens from the original owner, who himself bought it in March 2015. My original plan was to use it with 645z, which I was promised to get for a very good price, but the seller ended up selling it to someone else of course. Well, all drama aside, the lens is in a mint condition and it comes with the pouch, front and rear caps and the box. I'll ship it anywhere within continental USA for FREE.
I've bought it from ebay, and if you need the description from the original seller, I'll send you the link. I'm simply selling it at the price I bought it.

Hello folks, I hope you all enjoy your weekend. I have a question to Pentax 645d/z users who also use Priolite MBX500 and do outdoor portrait photography. I keep reading about the disadvantage of the Pentax 645 system for outdoor portraits due to a lack of modern leaf shutter lenses but doesn't Priolite (and hopefully Profoto too) kind of replace them? Thanks and please correct me if I'm missing something. Take care :)

Wow, that's good to know, thanks! Here are I have 2 more questions. First, do you have a link to any of the Hasselblad 100mm f2.2 lenses? And are you saying that these lenses can be adapted to 645z, and if so, then which adapter should be used? Thanks again for a lot of useful information. :) ---------- Post added 03-22-16 at 06:42 PM ----------
gavincato, may I ask you a further question? While searing for this lens on ebay, I see lenses of various serial numbers. Is it better to go with the latest serial number or it doesn't really matter?

Thank you very much for the detailed response. The question I have is whether or not you're talking about Hasselblad HC 100mm f2.2 or Hasselblad 110mm f2.0 Planar? It was my impression that you can only adapt the latter lens but not the former lens to Pentax 645 (please correct me if I'm wrong). :)

Hello folks, I hope you're all doing great. I've picked up Pentax D-FA 90mm f2.8 macro lens as my first Pentax 645 lens. So, my plan now is to expand my lens collection for portraits. I'd like to ask you about your experience using Hasselblad 110 f2 lens on your Pentax 645d/z.
- The wide aperture is attractive, but how sharp is it wide open and what's the quality of bokeh?
- How easy is it to manual focus this lens? I rarely use manual focus on my Canon lenses, and unfortunately I can never get
as sharp results as with autofocus.
- Finally, if this lens is attached to the body using an adapter, does this affect the weather sealed feature of 645d/z bodies?
Thanks a lot! :)

Hello folks, a new member here :) I've been trying to find the answer to my question but failed to do so. Is there a way to adapt Leica S lenses to Pentax 645z? Thank you and have a nice weekend :)
