I think this is not only about the ergonomics. Think of offering golden grips that would attract some Arabian sheiks. Or wooden stylish one for hipsters. I see here an endless possibilities to extend the target group for this camera :)

Cause for that money, it should be a replacement for both, my K-S2 and my wife :)

I have LowePro fastpack 250. It's very good backpack. Not to big, but at the same time I can take my K-S2 with Tamron 70-200 attached, flash, and two primes. And there is still a separate pocket for other things. It has a laptop pocket so I can take my gear when going to work and have everything in one place.

My first DSLR was Pentax K100D. I was considering Canon and Nikon counterparts. Canon was "too plastic", Nikon had a very dark viewfinder so I picked Pentax.
Next thing I bought was used Tamron 28-300 which I'm going to sell now. After upgrading to K-S2 more than year ago and buying M50/f1.7 and plastic fantastic 35mm/2.4 I recently bought Tamron 70-200/2.8
I'm happy with my gear and don't think I really need anything more. Maybe some 18-50 with wide aperture... But with my kit lenses and bright 35 I'm not missing anything right now
For me, Pentax was the only DSLR I afforded that had a viewfinder bright enough to play with manual focusing. Once I got used to Pentax I don't plan to change the system. Not only because of tight budget, but mostly of the ergonomy and features. And the image quality of course. I see no value in switching to any other brand. Things that done people say are not available for Pentax are mostly too expensive for me either way :)

Hi.
I'm the happy owner of K-S2. I'm using mentioned android app to copy files from camera. For remote controller I have an app that uses IR in my phone.
One thing to mention is that as far as I remember there is a switch in the menu that controls the trigger behaviour in bulb mode. You can set it to one of two modes:
- keep shutter open as long as the button is pressed
- press the button to open shutter and then press again to close
The first is the default, the latter is more convenient for long exposures.
Have fun!

Two shots from this summer:
Both taken with SMC-M 50mm/1.7
Focus peeking in live view is awesome feature when playing with manual lenses.

Hi. This is my first post on this forum. Picture taken with K-S2 and Tamron 70-200 f/2.8. Had some challenge to make sharp photos as my old tripod is not appropriate for this heavy lenses.
