I've also bought a lot of camera gear (mostly lenses) from KEH and have had no issues. However, even if the camera does work it'll still need a CLA as KEH will not have replaced any worn out seals/foam.

Here on the wet coast, Kodak Gold 200 now sells for less per 36 exp roll than Fuji Superia 400 or 200.
Hence I've become a fan of Gold 200...

Not in the leaf-shutter mode according to the lens manual. MLU is OK in the focal-plane mode.

I'm getting one for sure.
It'll be perfect as a backup/second film camera when I travel. My primary travel SLR camera (currently a Z-1p or MZ-S) will shoot E6 slide film and this new half-frame will shoot b&w.

Midnight in Antarctica.
We did a late evening zodiac landing in the Ross Sea area and there still was enough available light to take pictures. My wife took this one of me and the penguins, using my KX & K50/1.4. (Kodak Ektachrome 100 GX)

Surprisingly they don't mind waiting.
I used to be "young" (65+) and I'm the exception when I visit my local film lab to drop/pick-up a roll of film. Most of the other customers are young enough to be my grandchild.
The weird thing these youngins do however, is not keep their negatives after getting scans or prints. The lab staff I talk to said they end up chucking their negatives, as the youngins don't want them returned?....
Phil.
PS I'll also be getting this new Pentax film camera.

The OEM lens cap for the Takumar 6x7 55/3.5 would be an 100mm bayonet mount and not a screw-in or push-on. You can find them on eBay or KEH.

Dwayne's Photo probably had some "leftovers" when they stopped processing Kodachrome in 2010. Not sure if they still would be fresh enough to use though...

I only shot film but have it processed by my local lab. They do E6, C41 & b&w, so no need for me to do any home developing.

It may be this expired Agfachrome 1000RS I tried a few years ago, that was rated up to 1600 ISO. As with the Harman Phoenix, scanning made the difference.
This is the best I could get from the Agfa slide film, shot at 100 ISO.

I do have the manuals for the "M" Series lenses and it does not mention the M50/2 specifically. The "A" Series link I previously posted does have the "M "Series as well and is the first manual with the full aperture table listed.
I'd use that one as a reference for your M50/2 lens. The click-stop between f/11 and f/16 is f/13.5.

Just for some specialty lenses like the shift & soft focus or for a group like the super telephotos. (500m-2000mm)

Most of the street photography I do is when I'm travelling and my current travel camera is also the Pentax Z1-p. My travel film is Kodak Ektachrome 100, which I also get mounted.
Phil.
PS I finally found an OEM soft case for my MZ-S, so that's the camera I'm taking on my next trip in April to NYC. (Still E100 for the film)
