150mm closer than the spec is huge. The minimum focus distance (close focus) is referenced to the sensor/film plane.....is your measurement from the front of the lens, normally termed the working distance, by any chance?

Not strictly "Russian" but the later version (multi-coated) of the Carl Zeiss Jena 180mm f/2.8 Sonnar in Pentacon Six mount makes a very decent portrait lens and the Carl Zeiss Jena 120mm f/2.8 Biometar does a decent job too.

I agree but the OP stated "The images downloaded completely out of sequence time-wise" so it should cure his problem

Lightroom's Library mode gives you various options for ordering the files.....selecting 'capture time' should set you right.
(The tab is below the main screen panel when in library mode)

A theory (and only a theory).......
The aperture is stopped down by the motor against the tension of the return spring. Allowing it to open fully again after the shot is simply a matter of removing the force applied by the motor. By fully stopping down after the shot, the spring is tensioned to its maximum and this may ensure that the aperture snaps back to fully open. Smaller format lenses may not require the same return forces.

It might be worth trying another memory card as I believe that the shutdown process includes a write to the card

I've got a couple of Canon T3 adapters....the Pentax twin cable release works fine with them (as does an old no-name cable release I have), Likewise I have the RA-E3 which converts from the E-3 plug (used on Canon pre-digital era SLR's) to the N3 plug (used on some higher end Canon DSLR's)
Are you certain that the parts are as stated?

I had a similarly misaligned adapter that was causing the problem your describe but my Hartblei P6-645 is fine.

My MO with the Z is to use Liveview and peaking with all static subjects...even with 645-FA lenses.

I've never had a 67 body but I do have (and use) seven 67 lenses on my 645Z.....manual focus aside, they're pretty seamless in operation.

I can get a 300/4 or 400/5.6 in there at the expense of any two of the three zooms.

I can get my 645Z, 28-45, 45-85 and 80-160 (with space for batteries) in a Peli 1450 kitted out with padded dividers (not foam)....well within any carry-on size limits.

I believe that part of the shutdown procedure involves a write cycle to any installed memory cards.....may be worth trying a different one or removing it/them.

Your profile shows you to be in France, Rainer. If that's the case then I'm happy to swap the foot off the tripod mount for one that still has the helicoil insert although the underside of the foot is scratched somewhat.....a trade off of functionality versus condition.

I've just checked a few of mine and they do go slightly beyond the infinity mark....which seems to be the norm for AF lenses. Based on my greater knowledge of Canon's AF lenses then this allows for thermal expansion and continuous AF which requires movement marginally beyond the target distance.

I bought this lens from Mark and would agree 100%....it's better than my ability and up there with the best of my Canon and Zeiss lenses.

It does indeed and I only raised the 67 55/4 as the op seemed to be looking outisde the 645 stable.

As far as the CZJ offerings go you should stick with the later MC (multi-coated) versions. The two that stand out from the crowd are the 180/2.8 Sonnar and the 120/2.8 Sonnar with the former being quite a heavy lump but worth trying if weight isn't going to concern you.
The 50/4 Flektogon is useable (but not special) and the 65/2.8 Flektogon was dropped before the MC's came out so that eliminates it from the potential choices. I really think that the Pentax 67 55/4 (final version) is probably the best option out there if you're looking at 60mm+/- away from 645 lenses.
For the 80mm, the CZJ 80/2.8 Biometar is acceptable, compact and cheap (it was the Pentacon Six kit lens) but isn't going to get remotely close to the D-FA 645 90mm lens.

Plug the camera in and use "File Manager" (Windows....not sure of the MAC equivalent) to see if the SD card is visible.

If "subjects in close or medium distance are focused correctly" then AF fine tune is not a likely candidate is it?
