thanks. i shoot raw and edit in LR5. I like the look of slide film so i like to make my colors punchy.

Thanks for the feed back. Pigeons have been a new obsession of mine. i'm constantly trying to catch one in mid flight some how interacting or connecting with a person.

Still trying to develop my own voice and style when shooting street. I spend about 20-30 hours a week on the street and god knows how many more hours on the web looking at pictures. Its been 18 months since I've devoted myself to making only street photographs. The 5d collecting dust. Strobes and light stands sold or given away to friends. Maybe I'm taking this too seriously, maybe not seriously enough. Alex Webb told my that it takes 10,000 hours or about 10 years for an artist to find their voice. Just 8 and half more years to go. I'm cool with that.

Thanks. I'm always looking for something interesting. People just walking or standing around is too boring. They have to have something that gives them character.

I've been spending more time in Queens New York explorering neighborhoods in a borough that is probably the most diverse NYC has to offer. I highly recommend anyone visiting NYC spend a day walking along Roosevelt Ave. Thoughts welcome.

Yea. Its hard to make images work that have people on their phones in it. I try to avoid shooting folks using their phones but I sometimes think how will the images be viewed 20 years from now. Im sure phones are going to disappear eventually so photos of people talking into plastic handheld device might become more interesting.

98% of the time no one bothers to say anything. The rest will ask why I took there picture or what's it for. Once someone did ask to delete the image and I did.
