The over-all sweeping lines are the first attention grabber. Then a closer look , calls attention to the "ripple-texture" of each dune. If I'd taken that, I'd have a big print, hanging on my wall!

Photographing an elk herd across Oregon's Hell's Canyon...The equipment that I was using in the photo is a Pentax KX Digital with a 1000m f/8 Tele-Takumar on an Asahi Pentax 2X Tele-Converter.
