For several years I used a Sigma EF-610 DG Super PA PTTL flash (hot shoe mounted) with no problems. All of a sudden, it will flash, but every pic (K3 & K1) is completely black, as if the flash is out of synch with the shutter curtain. Doesn't matter the mode P, Aperture, Shutter priority, TAV - always a black image. (ISO no high then 400). As far as I know, I've changed nothing. No firmware upgrades on the flash or cameras. Any ideas??? Again the flash will fire, but the image is black. Thank you. Greg D.

Thank you. Did not realize had to purchase this product (c.$230). With all the money I've spent on Pentax bodies and lenses, I would think this software should come free from Ricoh, especially when purchasing a full frame or above!??

I can't use the Pentax Tether on the K1 because I can't install the Image Transmitter 2. All I can find and download is the most current version of Image Transmitter 2, which won't install since it is looking for an "older" version, and not finding one, quits/won't install. Anyone found a away around this problem. Thank you. Greg D.

So, assuming RAW and E-DN, bracketing determines the theoretical dynamicrange of the merged images and the capture type determines the degree to whichthe DN (highlights and shadows) is incorporated into the “base” (1st)image [if select HDR 1 à 3]. E.g., Bracketing+/- 3: Image 1 EV 0, Image 2 EV –3; Image 3 EV +3. HDR1 least à HDR3 most DN. AUTO disregards user bracketing values anduses EV +/-2 in the camera’s algorithm? ADV???? Am I correct here??
Also, in PS (CC) and LR (CC) the raw HDR image appears already merged? But if load using Pentax DCU you have the option, IF converting RAW to JPEG, to select HDR (1 - 3) amount???

Have a Pentax K3 & K3-ii cameras and need to know what is the fastest speed the camera's processor can write to a Class 10 SDHC &/or SDXC? Don't want to spend money on an expensive card if the camera's processor can't match it. The write speeds on class 10 cards vary significantly as well as the price. Thank you. Greg
