I've been looking at lenses lately (and getting really jealous that Canons and Nikons at their selection pool) and have been curious about using older Pentax lenses (FA series for example) for my Pentax K-3. I'd like to hear about anyone's experience using them if possible.
- Are there drawbacks I should consider before buying one?
- Do you lose sharpness or quality?
- Is there an advantage at all to using them compared to D FA or other made-for-digital lenses (other than cost)?
- Are there any "must have" lenses that I should consider?
In particular, I was looking at a Pentax K SMC 50mm f1.2 but have no idea how to judge its quality
