I still can't get over how much this looks like a classic painting. It's interesting to see it because it must have just been a snap decision to fire the shutter at that moment. Like a sports photographer for slow moving action scenes. :)

all raffle entries claimed for third bonus raffle within half a freaking second. so demoralizing. I second the dollar per ticket strategy mentioned earlier. good luck to everyone else who managed to get in.

wow...the "reply" option didn't even appear for me this time, despite refreshing the page over and over in the first five seconds. kinda sucks to move my whole saturday schedule around for both entry times when there was no real chance of even entering the raffle. Congrats to whoever gets it.

Aw, all the raffle spots were taken after the five seconds it took to refresh and click post. :/

Yeah, I avoid walking at all costs unless I have to. And that's usually just to get from one place to another. House to car, car to office. Carrying anything is impossible unless I have a backpack that I can later pull out while seated. So I don't think a monopod would work in this instance. But maybe a foldling monopod? I dunno. I'm still working through the options. ---------- Post added 06-12-18 at 12:53 PM ----------
Thanks Gary! It's good to know car photos and creative workarounds are more common than we might think.

Thanks for all the great responses everybody. I was sort of "wishing into the wind" with my question and you brought some solid perspective. 🙂 I do like the feel of the Sigma, but based on the other responses, I might pick up the 55-300 since I prefer street and portrait over landscape and architecture.
I will definitely post comparison examples when I get it. 🙂

Hi Pentaxians! What do you do to overcome physical limitations so you can still keep photographing? I recently injured my knee and cannot walk without crutches, and even that is difficult. I don't just want to sit in a chair with a zoom lens, but I'm feeling pretty limited at the moment. Share your stories about ways you've overcome limitations or had interesting experiences *because* of a limitation.

Hey there, I was wondering if any of you have tried to replace the SMC Pentax DA 60-250 F4 with the Sigma DC 18-250 F3.5-5.6. I like the 60-250, but it's so big. Have any of you gotten results similar to this Pentax lens with the sigma? Am I being delusional for thinking it's possible? I'm pretty new to photography so I'm still bumping into walls, if you know what I mean. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
