Item for Sale
Pentax k-3 II + D-BG5 grip + O-FC1 FluCard + SMC DA 50mm F1.8 lens

Asking Price
950.00 USD

Item Location
NorCal (United States)

Item Description
Up for sale my beloved Pentax K-3 II with a genuine Pentax D-BG5 battery grip, the Pentax FluCard O-FC1 16GB for wireless transfer and remote shooting and the Pentax SMC DA 50mm F1.8 lens. Everything is in UBER MINT CONDITION (no scratch/scuff anywhere that I can see). The camera comes with original box and content, the lens comes with both caps and the box (I am missing the pamphlet), the battery grip comes with box and pamphlet. The FluCard is just standalone. There is a screen protector on the viewing and control LCDs already.

According to the utility on Pentax Forums, it shows that the camera has 979 shutter clicks. The shutter on this camera is designed for 200,000 clicks, so this body is barely used, let alone broken in.

That SMC DA 50mm F1.8 lens is unassuming, but takes excellent shots (see sample photo that I took)

The Pentax O-FC1 16 GB FluCard allows the user to remote capture on your smartphone but also transfer pictures as well wirelessly. I will include instructions on how to setup the camera to allow correct communication with this card.

The camera is a US model. In late 2016, I switched to full frame so I no longer this.

The K-3 II like his big brother the K-1 has a built-in GPS and the Astro-tracer feature. It is an amazing camera, built like a tank, weather sealed.

Just came back from a Spring break road trip with the family. I came back feeling really small and humble as a human being when looking at those majestic and incredible beauties of nature. Most of the photos were taken with the K1 and the 15-30mm and 43mm Pentax, 70-200mm Tamron. A few shots like the Panoramics were taken with the RX100 and the GX85. The weather was simply gorgeous, there was some haze in Grand Canyon in the morning. Posted some shots on Flickr:

Thank you for looking

Just spent a few days there, nothing new here but the sheer size of those rocks is simply mind boggling...

That mirror flap really scares me... Do you exclusively shoot with a tripod? What film brand are you using?
Thx

A friend of mine wants to trade his pelican case full of Pentax 67II gear (including the AE finder, 5 SMC 67 lenses -67 LS 1:4 165mm + 1:4,5 75mm + macro 1:4 135mm + 1:2.8 165mm + 1:4 200mm, extension tubes, Metz 45 CT-5 flash unit) for my Canon EF 16-35mm F4 for $900 (I am moving away from Canon). He switched to Canon and is no longer interested in carrying all this equipment with him. I checked every function possible (minus loading an actual film) and things seem to work great. The body has very minor scuff and has very low mileage (less than 2000 clicks) overall everything looks very great. This camera is heavy and the mirror flapping sounds quite loud (not sure how often I will use the mirror lock up feature). I am tempted to accept the trade. I noticed you can't get a 67ii from the US, they are all sold from Japan. I really think this package is worth more than US$900. I want to convince myself this is an excellent deal, but is it? Though I will not be shooting this often, will I be able to find a shop to repair this if needed in the future?

I have uploaded some pictures of the goods:
