Great photo. Was the lightening capture a surprise to you or were you trying to capture this? If so how do you capture lightening?

I bought a KM several months ago, that was still in great condition and have learned a lot about DSLR with it. I have just upgraded to a K50 as I enjoyed using the KM so much.
My previous camera was a Ricoh KR10 circa 1980 - I still have that camera. Pentax/Rocoh cameras are well made and seem to last. My opinion is that Pentax is a brand that is true to it's roots and that Ricoh should be proud of. I am very proud to now be part of a rather exclusive club and have found Pentax forums very helpful.

Thanks Matt.
Is anyone else still using a K-M?
I like the look and feel of the K-M and am sure it is the right camera to begin with.
Has anyone upgraded from a K-M to a K50 and what would be the main difference I would see if I did this?
I am planning to by a new body in about 12 months time if I get on well with the K-M.
Many thanks
Mike

Hi I decided to get myself a used Pentax DSLR to help me learn about Digital Photography.
So far I have enjoyed using the K-M in good light, but have found that low light shots can be disappointing.
What is the modern equivalent of the K-M and will it make a huge difference to my shot? Many thanks for your thoughts. Mike N
