#12 has it for me, tough choice from a set of terrific photos. The timing of the shot is perfect, and the 'flip for the flip' is creative.

I have listed a 500mm Takumar for sale but did not post photos. How do I add photos now in response to requests from potential buyers? Thank you, peterspentax

Just to introduce myself, I'm retired in my mid 70's. Bought my first Pentax - a Spotmatic - in 1970 when the 2nd daughter was born. Loved film, did a lot of black & white developing and landscape work as well as shots of the kids. Moved into slides to take advantage of the incredible light of the Canadian Arctic in which we lived for 30 years. When film was no longer easily available, I fiddled with a series of point-and-shoots until getting serious again with a K-50 about 2 years ago. Have since purchased a K3II and the Pentax 16-85mm.

I'm using the new rig and my old lenses to try to capture the beauty of the landscape here on our 30 acre parcel in the interior. Our land is steep and forested with old, 2nd and 3rd growth trees, hence there are many wildflowers including several species of orchids. As we have zero light pollution I've been able to start trying Astrophotography from the deck. Fascinating stuff as I begin to plumb the immense capability of the K3II.

I'm very pleased with the performance of the old pre-set lenses that I have - the 50mm Macro-Takumar (orchids) and the 300mm pre-set Tele-Takumar (hummingbirds).

Another passion has become capturing unposed stills of my children and grandchildren that show the beauty of their characters.

All the best you. Peter
