Try looking at 3 Legged Thing. I use the Ellie universal bracket on my K3-III and it fits nicely. You are being redirected...
There is also their newer Lexie universal bracket to consider. They have pictures of it with both a KF and K1 attached. You are being redirected... |

I was actually using Zone Select in these shots. The strong contrast with the yellow eyes probably helped a lot.

I have used AcdSee Ultimate for a number of years. As mentioned above, Digital Asset Management is excellent. It has a Develop mode, which is a Lightroom equivalent RAW editor, though not quite as powerful as Lightroom. The Edit mode is for bitmap file (JPG, etc) editing. Similar to Photoshop but not as powerful, which is not a problem for the editing I do. The Ultimate version also allows for layered editing, but if you don't need that then the Professional version gives you everything else for less money.
The current version has a number of AI tools, but again, nowhere near as powerful as you would get in Photoshop. Photoshop plugins, such as Topaz, are supported but it would be worth checking the AcdSee forums if you need to confirm that a specific plugin will work.
You can buy it without need for a subscription, though they do have that option available. I prefer to download the free trial for each new version and then decide if upgrading is worth it.
I would recommend downloading the free trial and giving it a run.

I took some test shots at a local football match and the vast majority of the 370 images were in focus and tracked accurately. The settings here were for Expanded Area AF (Small), Type 3 tracking and Sensitivty 5.

Galahs normally fly off before you can get close but but this fellow was more interested in what he was munching on than me.
Gang Gangs, like this fellow below, really do ignore you when feeding. You can get surprisingly close without disturbing them.

I caught these guys on my morning walk. Gang-gangs tend to ignore you when they're feeding so you can get reasonably close to them.

Ted's Cameras on Elizabeth St has a KP in their second hand section for $599. No idea of the shutter count.
They also have a DA 21mm Ltd ($299) and a DA 70mm Ltd ($249), both SMC I think.
There is also a 645 lens but I didn't check the details.
There is no Web link to these items so you would have to call or go into the store to get more details.

Here's a focusing problem I found using the K3-III and the60-250mm. Trying out the lens today, after not using it for a while, it would not autofocus. The lens would make a slight squealing sound when trying to autofocus and the distance scale would only move slightly between the 2m and1.1m mark. The same behaviour occurred when I tried to use quick shift or by putting the lens focus switch to MF.
Oddly enough, when I set the camera body focus switch to MF it would allow full manual focus. When I removed the lens from the camera I could also now get full distance scale movement using the focusing ring.
I cleaned the contacts on both lens and body with no effect. There is no damage on the lens contacts and all seems physically OK. The K3-III has the latest firmware and I have not had any issues in the past with this lens.
My first thought was SDM failure but the fact that it tried to autofocus, and that it would only manual focus using the camera body switch or when it is disconnected, was really odd.
So I got out my old K3 and tried that. Autofocus was back working again. When I put the lens back on the K3-III full autofocus and manual focus were also working again.
I don't know what caused the issue, I had a fully charged battery in the camera, but at least it's working now. Has anyone else had similar strange issues with this or other lenses?

I haven't read through all the posts so I might have missed a similar thought by someone else. But for me, the takeaway is that the 6 year old K-70 apparently continues to sell well enough to justify continuing the product line as the KF. If K-70's were sitting on retailers shelves or in warehouses gathering dust, would Ricoh have even bothered?
Even with minimal design change someone had to expend time and effort to make it happen. And the same goes for actually building them, packaging them and sending them out the door. For all we know, these may be popular in non-Western markets. The only thing I can say with reaonable certainty is that Ricoh must have some expectation for ROI, even if it's not likely to be big dollars.

This is the foyer of a former bank, now offices and apartments. The foyer is only open on weekdays for anyone interested.
The photo of the ceiling was taken using a desk top tripod and Image Sync from my phone.

The current version of Image Sync does allow you to use the timer. When you're in capture mode, tap the the wheel icon for settings. As per the screen captures below, you can choose all the remote timer options.
You can also set them on the camera itself and it will appear under settings.
This works for Android, I'm not sure about iOS but would assume it's the same.
