The manual for my ZX-M say's you can use any of the FGZ series Flash guns with this camera.
Does anyone know why? I know the camera can't support all the functions of the flash but I though it could use put iy in manual mode for use with the ZX-M.

Thank you all for the Welcome. I have a ZX-7 and ZX-M body and a few pentax lens. My favorite being the FA 50mm 1.4.
Adam, visiting Arizona in the Fall and looking forward to some great pictures in the red rocks. Thanks for the recommendations on digital.

Hello everyone!
Just discovered the Pentax forum and excited to participate. Getting back into shooting after a long break. Just made the decision NOT to sell my film equipment/lens and to pursue shooting with film for " a bit longer". I will likely also purchase a used DSLR Pentax since there is some great equipment out there for reasonable prices.
