Thanks. I have a set of Pentax-M & Takumar lenses that I've been using since the film days. But the K-3 ii vs *ist DS comparison has me wondering if cameras have improved this much in just over a decade, how far have lenses come in three?

Hi there, everybody!
I'm new to the Forum, but not so new to Pentax. I cut my photographic teeth on a K1000 way back in the days of yore, and have be shooting a *ist DS for the past good-long-while. Just recently I picked up a K-3 ii and Holy Heck have strides been made in the DSLR world over the last 11 years!
Up next is dipping my toes in the "non-legacy" glass pool and seeing what the waters like. Good times ahead!
