I have the Pentax Limited 35 macro and it’s my first true macro lens. I’m enjoying it so far and I love the rendering it has.

I sent it to the chief pilot and he forwarded it to the powers that be with MetLife. I don’t know if they used it or not. The pilot of Snoopy One really liked it though.

I worked as a ground crew member for the MetLife blimp Snoopy One for a little over a year. I rediscovered this little grab shot I took while I was working my shift to keep watch on the airship. Coming up a cloud as they say.

Yes she does. A tighter composition is much better. :)

A couple shots from a day spent in the nation's oldest city, St. Augustine, Florida.
The fountain is called "Fuente de los Caños de San Francisco".
My lovely wife allowed me the privilege of taking her portrait in front of the fountains.

My wife gave me a DA 20-40mm Limited lens for Christmas, so we took it for a little stroll through the streets of St. Augustine, Fl.
These are just some grab shots in different lighting and I must say I'm very happy with the performance of the lens w/ my K3.

The app is called “Pinhole meter”. It uses the camera’s meter I presume, to measure light and I plug in the film speed and the aperture of the pinhole and it calculates a shutter speed. I then calculate for the film’s reciprocity for the actual exposure time. Long answer short, yes the apertures are adjustable.

Actually, I use an app on my phone that is specific for pinhole photography. Plug in film speed and aperture and it calculates the exposure based on the available light it’s reading. It’s been accurate for me.

Thank you for the welcome! I'll post my first image here then will become more involved on other threads as I settle in with my new K3. I selected the DA 50mm F1.8 as a starting point to build my system. Just a photo from my job to see how this lens performs with color and sharpness. I'm satisfied.

Relatively new to Pentax cameras but not to photography. I have,, had a Pentax K10D DSLR that I gave to my daughter in 2012 upon her getting her degree in Art History. I now have a brand new K3 that I'm getting to know. I started in photography in the late 70's early 80's with Minolta 35mm cameras. I still use these from time to time as well as a Mamiya 645 manual focus roll film camera that I have. I hope to learn a lot from y'all in the coming days.
