I really would be interested in a full frame Pentax if they release a new version. I would like to get the body and 3 lenses. I would also love to see a new film AF 35mm camera since I shoot mostly film. That way I could have one system and sell off all my non MF gear and digital collection. I shoot very differently these days and hardly use most of my collection. However, it would be very hard for me to let go of my Nikon F2 and the 3 lenses I have for it, it's such a great tool and in perfect operating condition. My wish would be a Pentax 35mm AF and full frame digital with 100% viewfinders.

Weather sealing is marketing trickery. Water and electronics don't mix. I've shot that band of waterway and it is beautiful. I used a Nikon waterproof film camera.

Congrats Bruce, I really enjoyed your image. I particularly liked your response on how you achieved it. I wasn't sure and it made perfect sense to the mystery. Well done

To be honest, I am brand agnostic. I view the camera as a tool. I only own the K10D as far as Pentax and have only taken test shots with it (recent accident purchase). I get weird comments about my gear, probably because I shoot film more than anything. I just say, it's only a tool. I've only got really annoyed once when a guy responded back and said I was a tool. The folders are a tool that I love to shoot, so slow and methodical. I get the most comments about those and frankly, I wish people would leave me alone and walk on by. The older I get, the more annoying people get. I have learned a new trick, it's an electronic fart sounder, very authentic sounding, it goes everywhere with me.

Getting to know my Ricoh XR-1. Viewfinder is different from what I'm used to. Have to look carefully. Used to use the K1000 and P30t but gave those away to the young, aspiring film photogs. So I picked this up to satisfy my love for the 50 f/4 macro.

I always wanted to go across the State and visit this lighthouse in St. Joseph, MI during the dead of winter, 125 miles from my home . My hope was to get some colored ice and / or some hint of color. I had a hard time choosing my favorite photo from the roll. I chose this one because it was the hardest to achieve and shows the spirit of us photogs. I patiently waited for the composition of the photographer to reveal as I froze my butt off (-20c) . The Fujifilm C200 (and Xtra 400) has always been mostly a favorite of mine for winter. It is tricky photography as it plays havoc on the old camera's light meter. I brought a long a hand held as well but settling on a vintage looking exposure was all about riding the thin line of under exposure and blowing the highlights. I also was afraid I was not going to make it here as the roads were treacherous with patchy black ice spots and many vehicles going off the road. I was super worried that my camera would brick in this cold but I just kept it in the layers of my coat.

Pentax P30t, SMC Pentax - A 70-210 f/4, Fujifilm C200, Arista C41 Liquid Kit, Epson V800 scanner.

Geez, I'm replying after 5 years....lol. I do all my own developing. This was more than likely D76 with minimal agitation. I use mostly Ilford DD-X these days as it's stocked locally and I really like it. I have since sold my K1000 and shoot a Ricoh XR at times. Inalso have a MV I'm servicing, what a strange little camera.

I am looking forward to shooting my recently acquired K10D. I picked up a DA 35 2.4 and have a couple manual lenses. I am rather brand agnostic but the images I seen on here with the K10D got me interested. I bought my grand daughter (11) a K100D and she loves it. I have way to many cameras... One question I have is on a flash. I was thinking a Godox TT350P as I am familiar with them, do they work well on the K10D?

You don't even want to know my hardware.... I'm running Linux Slackware and when I get on a Windows device, I quickly get very agitated. It seems Everytime I get on one, there is an update and requires a restart, talk about annoying. Anyway, enough of my rant. That NFL football coach from New England had the right idea on the surface pro.
