In the past few weeks on Ebay I bought the Pentax 18-135mm WR II for $140 and the Sigma 17-50mm for $85. Both excellent lenses. I could live happily with just the 18-135mm on my KP.

I wanted to like it, but the highly reflective screen was too hard to see in daylight. And no VF, so off it went. Meanwhile, I'm loving my MX-1. Its screen is great in any light.

The K-3 is the best camera I have ever owned, but I have arthritis and it hurts my hand to hold it for more than a couple of minutes. Guess I'm stuck with lighter and smaller gear. The K-3 is in mint condition with fewer than 3,000 shutter activations. Selling with a Sigma DC 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 and a SMC Pentax-FA 70-200mm f/4.5-5.6. Both come with front and rear caps. The Sigma also comes with its hood. Both lenses are in excellent condition with snappy focus, and no scratches on the glass or haze. Everything works perfectly. The camera includes its original box and all the contents. Selling as a package. $700 price includes Paypal fees and shipping. May return within 10 days, but only if I have misrepresented something.

Has there been any acknowledgement by Pentax of these teething issues? I'm very reluctant now to buy this camera. Should I wait until next year?
