The Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena California. Better Known as "Suicide Bridge". Dozens of souls have ended their lives by jumping from this Bridge, Many believe their tormented ghost are still there and on each end is a sign that reads..."There is Hope"

I have recently acquired this tripod and would love to use it...however I have no idea what that head is used for and would like to know if and how I can maybe replace it with a traditional head to hold my DSLR..

Thanks for the info! That does sound like a good lens to check out. I picked up a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro AF Lens yesterday. The Quantaray Lens was working out a little too poorly and I'm heading to the LA County Museum today and wanted a more usable macro function.Plus I like the range i'm getting out of it.

kinda crappy Quanterey 28-90mm 1:35-5.6 Macro
and I also use a couple old Pentax manual focus lenses. 50mm and a 500mm w/2x converter, from time to time
What do you think? I am fairly new with getting lenses and am very serious about building a good system. I like to photograph just about anything (as you can see from my albums on my profile) But i especially am interested in long exposure and street. Any suggestions will be appreciated!!!
