Pentax DFA 24-70 WR 2.8 Lens in near mint condition. Included are the 2 caps, lens hood, lens pouch, lens original box, and a nice Breakthrough Photography 82 MM UV X4 MRC 16 Traction Filter. The filter has a light chip in a corner which is not visible in field of view.

I mentioned that I had a K1 with both sd card slots not able to retain the sd cards, so I assume it's a spring issue. Anyway, I got a quote today for almost $ 400.00 from Precision Camera in the Northeast USA, which is the standard charge no matter what the issue is with the camera. I have another K1 with a sticky sd card slot but I got the card to stay in place and the camera is reading the sd card. Anyway, I'm going to just leave the sd cards in the camera, and use the micro USB cable instead to load the files to my computer. I know it's slower than a card reader but I'm not willing to pay another $400.00 for the same problem with my second camera.

I own two k1 cameras, and the SD Card slots springs are broken with one of them, and the other on now has a card slot where the sd card will not click in... Not happy!

I'm interested in the K1, and the reason I've asked for more information about it is because of the very low shutter count for a camera that has not been in production in over 2 years.

Yes, the aperture blades do not open or close manually, and I can only get images at 5.6 or larger without being totally blown out, so I shipped it off for repair yesterday.

Well, I think I have discovered the issue because when I checked the aperture blades with the lens off, the aperture blades do not close automatically any more except manually so my 3 year old lens needs repair it looks like. Thank you for helping find the culprit!

The first image settings were ISO 140, F/8, 1/180 at 24mm
The second image settings were ISO 200, F/16, 1/160 at 70mm
They were taken in aperture priority, and matrix metering,
I'm planning to check for sticky aperture blades later today, and I appreciate the help.

The last few weeks my Pentax 24-70 clips extremely to the right with any setting higher than 5.6 aperture even at exposure compensation at -5, and ISO 100. I have a k1, and other Pentax lenses that I have tried on the K1 with no problems so I've narrowed it down to the 24-70.
