Microlight, I'm referring to the push-on metal lens cap, with Pentax embossed. I think the felt is able to keep an air-tight seal. Hahaha, glad you were able to catch it!
LowVoltage, I think you're talking about the plastic lens caps with Pentax written in silver?

Hi Everyone,
I have found that when twisting the the lens cap, while on the lens, there is some type of seal created. And at least on my copy, the lens cap is much harder to fall off. Hope this helps those that experience this issue!
Just wanted to share this little piece of advice.
