Iv been looking at the sigma 18-300 for a all round lens, is this a good choice

Hi all, been a pentax fan since 1999 when I had my first, I brought a sigma 28-200 I still use it today, but now and then when it's trying to focus it locks out and clicks, . . .
I'm now using k70 and I'm loving it
