I don't really understand what is mentionned about the warranty.
In the top of the page, it's written USA warranty. And in the features, it's written Tamron 6 years warranty.

I live in France, and I want to know, if the product is broken for example, does the warranty work?

Thanks for this link. It is intersesting. But I suppose the man has a Nikon camera (I think). With a pentax slr, it may be different for the AF.

Hi

I am looking for buying the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 for my K10D. A friend will arrive in New York City certainly next week, and will stay 2/3 days. I asked him to buy me this lens, but the item is not available in BHPhotos, Adorama. Do you know where I can find it in NY?

Thanx for this informations.
In my case, I am not used to take sport photographies. So I think the AF of Tamron will be ok for me. In the case of i have to take photos of sport or anything else fast, i hope it will be ok with the Tamron !!

So you can confirm that the AF is bad and noisy with the tamron?

How is the image quality for the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 HSM II?

Because I've read that the Tamrom is better than the Sigma for this caracteristic.

have you got examples of images from the Sigma (without any retouch)?

What does it mean? It a technical problem with the lens?

I also hesitate between the Tamron 70-200 and the Sigma 70-200.

Can you help me to choice please?

I heard that the AF is noisy and not very fast on camera SLR. Is the the same with a pentax K10D?
